A bride and groom touch foreheads for glamorous wedding portrait

Courtney + Harold’s Glamorous Wedding

Courtney and Harold celebrated their nuptials with a romantic riverfront ceremony and a glamorous reception full of dramatic black decor and white details with us last winter.

Their love story started as friends, but they knew there was an unbreakable bond between them and it turned into something greater than they ever imagined. Harold eventually decided to pop the question during a photoshoot in Centennial Park and completely surprised Courtney!

While they originally planned a destination wedding, those plans changed due to COVID-19. But celebrating in the heart of Music City was a perfect second choice because music has always been a big part of Courtney and Harold’s story.

Courtney told us, “The Bridge Building captured Music City. It was elegant and romantic. It overlooks the water just like we originally planned! It also offered outdoor and indoor space that would give our wedding and reception two totally different looks!”

It was most important to the couple to simply celebrate their union with friends and family, and we couldn’t be more glad that we got to be a part of it!

They kicked off their wedding day with a sweet first look before the ceremony. Courtney stunned in a mermaid gown with a sweetheart neckline with sequin details, while Harold rocked a white and black tux with a butterfly bow tie.

The ceremony was set on the riverfront patio with friends and family, three modern white arches with white florals, floating candles down the aisle, and a city view. Courtney was escorted down the aisle by her brother in honor of her late father and she surprised her stepfather by asking for his permission to give her away at the altar. It was a very special moment to say the least!

Afterwards, guests made their way to sip on Pinot Grigio as the Infinity staff finished setting the main space for the glamorous wedding reception. The tables were set with black linens, silver chargers, floating candles and white floral arrangements. As for the dance floor, a custom white and black floor was placed in the middle of the Cumberland space to amplify this glamorous winter wedding.

Once guests found their seats, the bride and groom were introduced into the reception as an official family with Harold’s oldest child. The introduction of the family instead of bride and groom was one of the couple's most memorable moments that highlighted the unity between them.

Before Courtney and Harold’s first dance to “It Would Be” by Trey Songz, the Infinity staff served a plated dinner of honey balsamic chicken with roasted Brussel sprouts and squash, rosemary maple pork chop with whipped potatoes and roasted heirloom carrots, and bourbon glazed salmon with grilled asparagus.

The wedding continued through a night of celebration, tradition, and dancing.
